2010 Scholarship Program

Scholarship Programs

Financing a college education is never easy. Tuitions continue to rise and so does the cost of room and board - not to mention all the day-to-day expenses like books, supplies, food and gas. All of these keep stacking up, increasing what it takes to make college attendance possible.

For over 20 years, Farm Credit has awarded scholarships to students studying agriculture, finance or an agriculture-related field of study.  In 2010, we will award over $100,000 in scholarships.  Our programs include:

  • Farm Credit Services Scholarship Program: 36 scholarships awarded to those pursuing degrees in agriculture who are also customers-members or children of customer-members.
  • University Scholarship Program: Scholarships are provided to ag-related universities throughout our four state territory of Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana and Tennessee.  Applications can be obtained through the ag department or the campus career center at the universities listed on this website.
  • 4-H / FFA Scholarship Program: Scholarships awarded to state FFA and 4-H programs in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee
