Bert Holsapple - Orleans, Indiana

Bert Holsapple has been a member of the FCS board since October, 1989.  Prior to his term as director, Holsapple served on the Huntingburg FCS Advisory Committee and was a member of the local Federal Land Bank board. 

He is the president of the Orange County REMC Board and a member of the Farm Bureau.  More recently, Holsapple was inducted into the Indiana Prairie Farmer's 2004 Master Farmer Class. 

He owns 750 acres and leases an additional 1,700 acres in partnership with his two sons.  They raise corn, soybeans, wheat and hay and have an Angus Beef operation.  He and his wife, Ruth, currently live in Orleans, Indiana and are active members of the Lost River Baptist Church.
