2008 FCS Farm Faces Photography Competition

Categories

All photography must be original work

• Black and White Photography
• Color Photography
• Children (under the age of 18)
• Young Adults and Adults (18 and older)
• Farm Animals

Deadline

Entries must be postmarked no later April 30, 2008.

Prizes

One Grand Prize winner of $1,000 and 5 category winners of $500 each will be selected. Winners will be featured in Farm Credit Services of Mid-America’s August 2008 issue of the Journal as well as in advertising and other company communications.

Submissions

1. Members or family members of Farm Credit Services of Mid-America can enter the 2008 Farm Faces Photo Competition.  Employees and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter the competition.
2. Photos can be submitted digitally (CD) or online to rbarbee@e-farmcredit.com.
3. Entries must be postmarked by April 30, 2008 and mailed to P. O. Box 34390, Louisville, Kentucky 40232 or 1601 UPS Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40223.
4. Winners will be announced on www.e-farmcredit.com on or before June 30, 2008. Winners will also be notified by mail. We cannot accept inquiries on the status of the contest or the winners.
5. Entries will not be returned and become the exclusive property of Farm Credit Services of Mid-America, which reserves the right to publish or reprint any entry for Farm Credit purposes.
6. Entries must be labeled with name and complete address; phone number and email (if available).  Entries must also include the entrant’s local office.   Entries that are not labeled according to the specifications listed will be disqualified.  The entry form is linked below.
7. Contest winnings may be subject to federal income tax.
8. No professional entries; photographs must be original work.

Judging

Judging will be handled by an agency and will be based on originality and how well the concept fits the category.
