Recognition affirmation of the Association’s creative, collaborative culture, CEO says

For the seventh consecutive year, the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management have named Farm Credit Mid-America one of the Best Places to Work in Kentucky. In a survey, the Association ranked as one of the top-scoring businesses in the large-company category of 500 or more employees.

“We greatly appreciate this honor,” said Bill Johnson, president and CEO. “To be recognized for seven consecutive years is especially meaningful and speaks directly to the creative and collaborative culture Farm Credit team members have created, not only with and for customers, but with and for each other.”

Selection of the Association as a Best Places to Work in Kentucky was based on a 78-question internal Employee Engagement and Satisfaction Survey that assessed employee policies, processes and procedures. It’s one of 31 companies being recognized in the large-sized employer, employing 500 or more category, in the 15th Annual Best Places to Work in Kentucky program, presented by Lifestyle Health Plans.

The Association and other winners will be recognized, overall rankings will be announced, and a magazine recognizing the winners will be released for statewide distribution at an awards dinner Tuesday, April 23, at the Lexington Convention Center’s Heritage Hall.

Farm Credit Mid-America is part of the national Farm Credit System and brings more than a century of agricultural lending experience to Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee. With more than 80 offices located throughout the four states, nearly 450 employees serve the Kentucky market, which includes its headquarters located in Louisville.
